FISHIPEDIA, THE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF THE AQUATIC WORLD

What is Fishipedia?

Fishipedia is an interactive encyclopedia dedicated to aquatic biodiversity. The various sites are the result of an uninterrupted effort that began in 2013 by two passionate web developers, Benoit Chartrer and Yuhei Nakata.

Organized into species profiles, media, and features for curious minds, enthusiasts, and professionals, our online encyclopedia invites users to dive deeper into the world of fish.

The encyclopedic project was born from the realization of a need for technology and innovation in websites dedicated to animals. From the start, the team focused on fish and began bridging the gap between the various worlds related to these animals.

With nearly 8,000,000 visitors since its launch, Fishipedia is the leading French-language website dedicated to aquatic wildlife.
